Grounding Techniques for Stress & Anxiety
Occasional stress and anxiety are common experiences. Grounding techniques, such as the 5-4-3-2-1 method, can help shift attention back to the present moment and reduce feelings of overwhelm.
This exercise encourages you to identify:
• 5 things you see
• 4 things you feel
• 3 things you hear
• 2 things you smell
• 1 thing you taste
Practicing grounding techniques may help calm the nervous system and improve focus.
If stress or anxiety begins to interfere with daily activities, consider speaking with a healthcare provider. Our pharmacy team is available to answer questions about wellness resources and support options.
