Since the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Northern Pharmacy has remained open and able to continue to serve our community. We continue to take safety measures to help keep our patients, team and visitors healthy. Check out some of the processes we have in place, to do just that.
Hygiene Barriers Northern has put up hygiene barriers at all registers to ensure there is an additional protective layer between patients and Northern Pharmacy team members.
Germicidal Disinfecting of the Building We routinely spray all of our buildings with a Germicidal Disinfectant, focusing especially on high touch and high traffic areas.
Air Filtration Purification System An Air Filtration Purification System has been installed to ensure clean air is being circulated throughout all of our buildings. This system is the newest technology in air filtration for the fight against COVID-19.
Masks Per Governor Hogan’s order, all Northern Pharmacy team members, customers, vendors and visitors are required to wear a mask while in any of our buildings. Cloth masks are acceptable.
Social Distancing We are practicing social distancing throughout the building, making sure to keep 6 feet between team members and patients. *Exception: Patients meeting with a member of our Certified Fitter Team.
Hand Hygiene Northern has instilled in their team that proper hand hygiene is very important. Team members are encouraged to wash their hands with soap and water at least every hour. We have also provided many hand sanitizing stations throughout the building for our team, patients and guests to use frequently while in the building.
Health Check Before entering the building each team member at Northern Pharmacy is required to perform a Health Check. The Health Check screens for potential COVID-19 symptoms. Additionally, all vendors, visitors and fitting patients will be assessed for COVID-19 symptoms including, having their temperature checked.
Current In-Store Process We would love to have you visit us in person! Please check out our current in-store procedure.
1. We are ONLY using our Lobby entrance; park in our parking lot, off of Northern Parkway, in the rear of our building.
2. We are limiting the number of customers allowed in the store.
3. A greeter will assist you when you arrive. They will welcome you, ask some screening questions and point you to the proper location. If you are being fitted for a brace, shoe or stocking, your temperature will be taken.
All customers and Northern Pharmacy team members are required to wear a face mask while on Northern Pharmacy’s property.
